Installing landscape drainage, yard drainage, or french drains in the Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Lewisville, Mckinney and general North DFW area is not only back-breaking work due to our heavy clay soils, it also requires a lot of technical expertise and some educational background (whether certification or college degree).
Water sitting on top of our black clay soil causes so many issues: compaction, groundswell, foundation breaks, the inability for turfgrass and sod installation to live in those areas, mosquito infestations, etc. So, how do we divert the water away from the foundation and house? We raise the soil grade to naturally move water from the house, then install landscape drainage, french drains, pumps or whatever else is needed to get the water where it needs to go.
Here are a couple of examples of recent drainage contractor projects: severe grade leveling and diverting water from the foundation in Frisco; landscape drainage project in Lewisville; yard french drains and landscape drainage in Plano, along with foundation grade leveling and french drains in Mckinney.
